You’ve been planning your vacation for months.

You booked your vacation rental, your flights, your ride to the airport.  You’ve planned your outfits and packed your bags.  You’re super excited and can’t wait to start relaxing on the beach.

Everything is on schedule and going as planned until…

Guess who decides to arrive early?  Yup, your period. 🩸

Really!? 🤦🏻‍♀️

Actually, this is not really a surprise or out of alignment.  Don’t get me wrong, it’s totally inconvenient. 

Getting your Period when you’re on vacation is not a bad thing.  It’s actually energetically aligned.

What do I mean?

Vacations are all about relaxing and letting go, metaphorically.

Your period/menstrual phase is all about releasing and letting go of the uterine lining that is no longer needed.  Let it flow. It’s your body literally “letting go”.

So getting your Period while on vacation is your body and spirit aligning physically and energetically.  This isn’t a time to dread. Let’s celebrate! 🎉

  • Why do I keep talking about Hormonal Birth Control?  How did I get here?

My drive to help other women is rooted in my own experience.  

I learned I had a health issue.  I was dedicated to fixing it naturally with nutrition and exercise rather than resorting to taking prescription medication.  Following the breadcrumbs of my research led me to take a closer look at the HBC I had been taking for decades.  It was at this moment that I made the connection of the effects HBC was having on my health.   Once I got off of HBC I finally saw the impact my food choices and exercise were making on my health in the right direction.

Through research I learned about the effects of HBC on the body.  One of the side effects of HBC is vitamin and nutrient deficiency.  HBC depletes the body of B vitamins (riboflavin, B6, B12, and folic acid), Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Selenium, Magnesium and Zinc.

Knowing what I know now, I wished I had been informed of the risks and side effects so I could have made a proper informed decision.  

✨I can’t change the past so I will share this information with women so that they can make an informed decision that is best for them now.
